About Me & My Approach

I’m Nadjla Agahbanaei, though most of my clients call me Naj. I am a Registered Clinical Social Worker with over 17 years of experience supporting individuals aged 16 and older across healthcare and educational settings in Ontario.

My work, whether in individual psychotherapy or corporate wellness, is grounded in a shared foundation: a commitment to supporting meaningful, sustainable well-being through insight, compassion, and practical, evidence-informed strategies.

A Shared Philosophy Across All Services

While psychotherapy and corporate wellness services are offered separately and differ in scope, my approach to care informs both.

At the core of my work is a holistic understanding of well-being—recognizing the connection between mental, emotional, physical, social, and, where relevant, spiritual health. I believe that meaningful change begins with awareness, is supported through practical tools, and is sustained through alignment with what matters most.

Across all settings, I aim to create spaces that are grounded in respect, curiosity, and thoughtful reflection, whether working with individuals or supporting teams within organizations.

My Approach to Psychotherapy (Ontario Only)

In my clinical work, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s complexities with greater clarity and self-understanding. My approach is rooted in compassion, connection, and a deep respect for each person’s lived experience.

I believe in meeting people where they are, honoring their pace, and supporting change in a way that feels both meaningful and sustainable.

Corporate Wellness & Workplace Well-Being

In organizational settings, I deliver non-clinical, educational programs designed to support employee well-being, stress management, and positive workplace dynamics. I bring experience facilitating workshops and presentations across diverse settings, including hospitals, large organizations, international webinars, and audiences of over 200 participants.

Using evidence-informed strategies, my work focuses on fostering a culture of mental wellness while equipping employees with practical tools to manage stress, enhance focus, and sustain performance both in and out of the workplace.

At the Heart of My Work

I believe that growth and healing become possible when your choices align with who you are and what matters most. My role is to provide a space, whether individual or organizational, that supports clarity, reflection, and meaningful change without pressure or pretense so you can show up authentically as you are.

Please note:
Psychotherapy services are available exclusively to residents of Ontario, Canada.
Corporate wellness and workplace well-being programs are offered internationally as non-clinical, educational services.
