Therapeutic Approach

Areas of Specialty

Additional Areas I Support

I take a flexible, client-centered approach, working collaboratively to tailor therapy to your needs, goals, and pace. Rather than relying on one method, I draw from a range of evidence-informed approaches to support meaningful, practical change. My focus is on helping you notice patterns that keep you stuck and supporting you in developing more effective ways of responding to thoughts, emotions, and stress. This may include strengthening emotional regulation, reducing avoidance-based coping, and increasing tolerance for uncertainty and distress. I integrate approaches such as CBT, ACT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, and emotion regulation strategies, depending on what best fits your needs. Therapy is a collaborative process aimed at increasing flexibility, clarity, and resilience so you can respond to life with more choice and intention.

I specialize in working with adults experiencing health anxiety, as well as those navigating grief and substance use, particularly when these experiences overlap with anxiety, depression, or major life stress. Health anxiety can feel consuming and relentless. Many people describe persistent worry about their health, frequent checking or reassurance-seeking, difficulty trusting medical explanations, and a sense of being stuck in a cycle of fear that is hard to break. This focus reflects the area where I have the most depth of experience and clinical attention in my practice.
